Lizzy Mulkey has been teaching and practicing Pilates, Yoga, and Meditation for over a decade. She is proud to help others stay fit in body and mind, build strong and lasting core strength, and help negotiate any chronic aches and pains. She pushes people’s stamina but also challenges their ability to move slowly in order to develop intelligent pathways, space, length, and control of the body’s power. Graceful movement and breath work is emphasized in her class as a tool clients can use to find correct muscle connection, perseverance, and patience with themselves while working out and in life in general. Her ultimate goal is to help students hone a healthy muscular system and nervous system through regular Pilates practice, thus improving their performance in all activities, from athletics to daily posture and mental stamina.
