The Art of Self-Care & Swedish Culture

Posted: September 9, 2016 By: Comment: 0

Special for ArtWeek, join Balans Organic Spa for a group spa treatment and an introduction to hand-crafted Swedish jewelry that dates back 10,000 years. The indigenous Sami culture of northern Sweden began making bracelets by hand using reindeer leather, hand carved and polished antlers used for buttons, with a variety of other Swedish materials.

Built on Swedish standards, Balans (‘balance’ in Swedish) practices the art of self-care, from inside out. Balans Organic Spa is the first spa in Boston to introduce 100% pure and organic skincare, and the first spa to provide extensive nutritional, health and lifestyle support. Our mission is to educate and to raise the standards within the health, spa and skincare industry.

MARIA ÅKERBERG is the Swedish skincare line exclusively used in all treatments at Balans Organic Spa. Learn about these superior native and organic ingredients and our lifestyle philosophy while enjoying a spa group facial in our beautiful, serene and Scandinavian setting. Self-care is an art that lasts a lifetime.
